🟦 About Us

Welcome to The Ground Report UG – Your Source for News, Insights, and Inspiration.

At The Ground Report UG, we bring you the latest stories that matter most — from politics, business, education, and technology to health, sports, and lifestyle. Our mission is to deliver accurate, balanced, and engaging news that informs, inspires, and empowers readers across Uganda and beyond.

Founded by passionate storytellers, The Ground Report UG was created to bridge the gap between mainstream media and the local voices that often go unheard. We believe every story deserves to be told with honesty, simplicity, and clarity — whether it’s breaking news from Parliament, a human-interest feature, or updates on community progress.

We’re more than a news blog — we’re a community of curious minds, critical thinkers, and change-makers. Our readers are at the heart of everything we do.

At The Ground Report UG, we value:

Truth: We verify before we publish.

Fairness: We give all sides a voice.

Engagement: We write for real people, not algorithms.

Thank you for choosing The Ground Report UG — where real stories meet real readers.
