According to family accounts shared online, the woman had been employed in Saudi Arabia as a domestic worker when she allegedly contacted her sister in Uganda in a frightened and emotional state.
During the call, she is said to have claimed that she was in danger and feared for her life, with reports quoting her as saying that “these people really want to kill me.”
Shortly after the alarming conversation, communication with her reportedly went silent. Efforts by her family to reach her again are said to have been unsuccessful, deepening concerns about her safety and whereabouts.
Relatives say they have since attempted to contact recruitment agents and agencies involved in her deployment abroad, but have not yet received clear answers regarding her status.
