Reports circulating in political circles suggest that discussions may be underway regarding the possible participation of the National Unity Platform (NUP) in the Inter-Party Organisation for Dialogue (IPOD), a platform that brings together political parties represented in Parliament.

According to the reports, President Yoweri Museveni is said to have agreed in principle to allow a delegation from NUP to participate in the process of joining the organisation.

The reports further allege that the delegation would be led by NUP official Lina Zedriga, who would represent the party during the signing of the relevant documents required for admission into the political dialogue forum.
